Hi! I tried a couple of new techniques lately and wanted to share one of them with you today. This is called Faux Silk.
I used one of my favorite stamp sets that will be retiring at the end of this month. It is a hostess set called Because I Care. I'm not going to be parting with this one anytime soon. I stamped my image in Cherry Cobbler & Old Olive on Whisper White. Take a piece of tissue paper, wad it up then straighten in back out and glue it on top of your image. Just cut off the excess tissue paper around the edges and you are done. I really like how it turned out.
