Mojo Monday

Ah it's Friday!! Not only is it the weekend but it is my last day at work. I am so looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for me.

I made a couple of birthday cards using the sketch

I used the stamp set Moving Forward. The set is so cute plus with every set sold Ronald McDonald House gets a donation of $3!! And I broke into my 4x6 Festival of Prints paper stack. There is some really beautiful paper in there.

Have a great weekend - Shelley

Scrap it with a Song - Photograph by Nickleback

This week's Scrap it with a Song inspiration is
 Photograph by Nickelback!

This song definitely makes you go back to high school days.
So that lead me to this scrap in my Smash book.

Now you have to see the "big hair" up close...
I miss these days. This is me and my best friend Kelly! I love the retro McDonald's cups.

You have until the end of the month to join our September challenges.
Hope to see what you create ~ Shelley

Reason to Smile

Hi! Wow how the weather has changed here in West Virginia. It is so cold in the morning and evenings! I had to turn on a heater! But I do love Autumn!

This is a really fast card I made using "Reason to Smile" stamp set.  Just three pieces of very vanilla layers on to soft suede.  It was really easy and makes a great thank you card.

Booo

Ahhh, it's Friday!!  I am really looking forward to this weekend, we have a wedding to attend!

This stamp set is called Googly Ghouls, but it looks like I forgot to add the googly eyes before I took a picture of it. The stamps are so cute, great for making Halloween treats. Speaking of which I better get started I have so many nieces and nephews!

Here is Frankenstein with the googly eyes.

Autumn Leaves

Hi! The cooler weather has been wonderful here in West Virginia.  I love this time of year and can't wait to see the leaves start to change.

This is a simple card I made using French Foliage. Another beautiful set that makes cards so easy to create.

Happy I Do Day

Next weekend my son's best friend is getting married, I can't believe they are old enough for marriage.  Seems just like yesterday they were riding their bikes around town. Time really flies...

I used the sketch at Our Creative Corner

Scrap it with a Song - Fifteen by Taylor Swift

We are celebrating back to school this week at
This week we are using the song Fifteen by Taylor Swift.

I used the sketch at Sketches in Thyme and created my
 page in My Digital Studio.

I have lots and lots of wedding pictures to scrap!  I used the lyrics "dancin round" from the song as my title.
We love to see your creations, you have until the end of September to link your creation.

Have a great day  ~ Shelley

Dynamic Duo

Oh, I wish the weekend wasn't coming to an end! I dread going back to work tomorrow.  On the bright side I did get some time to "play" with a new stamp set this weekend.

I used Cajun Craze and Always Artichoke to play along at Dynamic Duo.  These two colors really look good together.

This set is Postage Due. I love it, it was so easy to create a simple but very pretty card!

Scrap it with a Song

Hi! Hope you all have had a great week,
I am so ready for the weekend...

The challenge song over at Scrap it with a Song this week is Teach your Children Well by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. When I was looking through my stack of pics I have yet to scrap I knew I had to use these pics of my great nephew Levi. He is such a sweetie. They grow up way too fast!

I used the sketch at Let's Get Sketchy

Thank you cards

I have been busy making thank you cards for all the wonderful people that shared in our wedding with us.  I tried to keep them simple since I had so many to make and mail.  I always have to put extra postage on because I add to many embellishments.

Simple but pretty!

Finally...

Well I finally have something to share.  I have been busy making thank you cards and scrap pages this weekend.
I know I will have a hard time picking photos from the wedding to scrap. There are so many of them!

I actually made these several weeks ago but couldn't share until after the wedding since they were gifts for my bridesmaids.

They are made out of toilet paper rolls. There are inserts with sayings about friendship and sisters.

Here is some of the pages on the inside. My bridesmaids were my three sisters and my best friend since kindergarten - who also was the one who set me up on a blind date with Mike!
