Stampin Up Meeting

I was so excited last Sunday to be able to attend a Stampin Up downline meeting. I recently moved from Clarksburg WV to Charleston WV.  Brenda Witt, a local Stampin Up demonstrator allowed me to come to her meeting.  It was so great to be able to get together with the ladies and stamp. I haven't down that since I've moved here!

This is the card I made for the card swap, it's using the Kindness Matters stamp set. You can get this set free during Sale A Bration with your $50 purchase!

Craft Your Passion Challenge #95

The weekend comes to an end way too fast! We did have a good weekend though. Saturday we went to visit our new nephew. He is such a cutie! And today I was able to go to a fellow Stampin Up demonstrator's (Brenda Witt) team meeting. I had a great time with the ladies.

Today is my last post as a guest designer for
I have enjoyed participating in their challenges each week.
This week the challenge is Beary Sweet
and is sponsored by Crafty Sentiments.

The image is from Crafty Sentiments, isn't it cute? My papers and embellishments are from Stampin Up. The ribbon and flowers are leftovers from last years Sale a Bration. Every $50 you spend you get a free product out of the Saleabration catalog!

Scrap it with a Song is Back with a DT Call!!!

Scrap it with a Song is back with some great new
challenges for you and are having a DT Call!
This week our challenge song is
Such pretty lyrics,  right out of the Bible from Ecclesiastes.
I've always liked that song.
All you have to do for the DT Call is participate in any January challenge and put DT after your name!

With so many great pictures from my nieces wedding still to scrap, I decided to use the lyrics "time to dance".

This is my beautiful niece with her husband and her two uncles.

Here is a close up of the details and that is my handsome brother!
My stamps are from Stampin Up and this great paper was a wonderful Christmas gift from my fiancé!

We would love to see your creations this week!

Valentine's Day Box

I bought this wooden box at Michael's to decorate for Valentine's Day for Mike. He loves boxes and chests of every kind.

I loved this one because it has the little lip on top that made it really easy to decorate. All the other products are Stampin Up except the background paper. Of course once I finished it I had to give it to him, now I need to find something else for Valentine's Day. lol

Have a great day ~ Shelley

Hoop Picture Frames

Happy Friday everyone!
This week seemed to be a pretty long one with no holiday to celebrate! Yet I still didn't seem to get very much accomplished this week. I  made this picture  "frames" last weekend. I have wanted to make them since the Stampin Up catalog came out last July.

They really look better in person. I bought some cross stitch hoops and painted them brown. I used my left over Spice Cake fabric. They are going to look great in my living room!

Have a great weekend! Shelley

Thank You

This is a Thank You card I made for Mike's great Aunt Norma, for the beautiful Christmas gift she gave us. She had several different pictures framed of Mike's grandma & great grandma. It was a very thoughtful gift.  She also gave me a great quilt book. That is one of the things I really want to do this year. There are some great small projects in the book to start out with.
For my card I used Established Elegance stamp set.

Rosette Wreath

Well, I finally made one!

I have seen so many of these beautiful wreaths and have wanted to make one. I was going to make one for Christmas, but I didn't get around to it. I was going to make this one as a Valentine decoration but I found my Beau Chic paper and thought it would be perfect. It didn't turn out very Valentiney, but I love it! I alternated the rosettes and flowers using the Fun Flower Big Shot die.

Craft Your Passion Challenge

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful new year. Ours was pleasantly quiet. Just hanging out at home watching Stephen King's Bag of Bones!
I'm glad to be back blogging. I took a little vacation from crafting. I tried to get so much done for the holidays, I think I burned myself out! lol
I am really excited about my post today. I was asked to be a guest designer for January for Craft Your Passion's challenge blog.  The image I was allowed to use from the Paper Shelter is just so cute!! The challenge this week is

Isn't she just adorable!
All my other products (except the yarn) are Stampin Up.
