Little Bitty Challenge

I  finished my my second scrap page of the week!!!
This is for the Scrap It With a Song Challenge.
I just came across this challenge this past week, I love using songs for my scrap pages.

This is my Mom & Dad, around 1957. I wish you could see my Mom's pretty face, but I loved how the picture worked with the Newsprint DSP. My handsome Daddy is reading the comics and Mom is reading her magazine.

Have a great day!!

Brady's Birthday

I hope everyone had a great weekend and Mother's Day!
Unfortunately, it's back to work today.

This is a card I made for my nephews birthday last week. I had my nephews over a couple weeks ago to make Easter & Mother's Day cards. Braydon saw this stamp and really liked it, so I used it for his card. I used the 4th of July set for the stars & firecrackers, and Afterthoughts for the birthday greeting.

It's Tuesday, so it's time for another challenge at Michelle Perkett Studios. This week our challenge is Mother's Day. And Michelle has some awesome images that you can use to make your Mother's Day Cards. No doubt the recipient will love it!

Aren't these little peace sign flowers cute! I have been trying to use my scraps of paper as I go, so I few of my cards have been Tempting Turquoise & Rich Razzleberry. But I really love this combination.

National Scrapbook Month

Hi all! May is national scrapbook month. I have been neglecting my scrapbooking for a while now. My goal is to create a mini album or scrapbook page at least once a week.

Here is a mini album I made last week. All the products are SU except the yarn on the binders.

I kept the colors to Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist & Pear Pizzaz. The DSP is Paisely Petals. I used the bird punch and Boho Blossoms. For the stamp sets I used Punch Potpourri and Elements of Style.

Have a great day! Shelley

Elisa the Mermaid Queen

Good morning!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The weather has been gorgeous here in West Virginia. I hope it is again today!

I have been a day behind all week. I should have posted this card yesterday. Today I hope to catch things up for the rest of the week.

This is Elisa Queen of the Sea and you can find her here! Isn't she beautiful.   I used Tempting Turquoise & Rich Razzleberry from SU! I used these colors together on a flower card I had made just from scraps I had laying around and really thought they were pretty together. A friend really liked it too and said that those should be my wedding colors and I thought that was a great idea. I will be ordering a lot more of these colors for favors and decorations.
I hope you all join us this week for our color challenge, it is Turquoise & Brown.  We have some beautiful entries. Don't forget to us an MPS image to qualify to win a free image from Michelle.
