Hi! Lots of things to still get done before Christmas, every year I think I am going to get things finished early. I start early but I just don't get enough done until the last minute. I don't want to be a procrastinator but I guess I am.
I made some hot cocoa treats, the boxes are really easy to make and you can fit a couple packs of hot cocoa, some candy canes and a little bag of marshmallows.
We woke up to a little bit of snow this morning! Enough to cancel school, but it seemed to disappear rather quickly. I love snow!
I thought I would share the birthday card I made my sister. I had to wait to share until I mailed it out. Her birthday was on the 2nd and now she shares it with our great niece! The stamp set is Cycle Celebration. You can find it here. I have loved this set since the catalog came out this past summer and finally bought it!
Hi! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. We had a little snow fall last night, everything looked so beautiful this morning! Love how the snow just hangs to the trees!
A couple months ago my sister in law sent me a picture of a mobile she asked if I could make her one for her baby girl's nursery. It looked easy enough, so I gave it a try. I really loved how it turned out.
Here is a picture of it hanging in Jilian's nursery.
They did such a great job decorating.
So I decided to make another one. I used different Stampin Up punches for the decorations.
I love the cool weather. Autumn is so pretty in the mountains, all the colors on the trees. It is my favorite time of year!
I used a piece of paper from Sweater Weather to cover a wooden picture frame I got at the craft store. I just added some leaves and scraps of paper and have a pretty fall decoration to add to my collection!
Hi! Hope everyone had a great weekend, I am so sad to see it end. Too bad my doesn't take company Columbus Day as a holiday :(
I found a video this weekend that demonstrated an awesome embossing technique - she called it "inside out embossing". I love when others share what they learned, because I would never be able to come up with this stuff myself!
Hi! This week is going really fast, I can't believe it is
Wednesday already! Today I have a card I made
a few weeks ago for a co-workers new baby.
I LOVE making girl cards. I have gotten to make several of them recently! Lots of baby girls on the way. I used the stamp sets Hearts a Flutter and Collage Curious, also used the Chalk Talk framelits for my tag.
These are photos of my husband over he past two years. He has went to clean shaven to long hair and beard. The most recent picture is the 1st row, middle picture. I used the stamp set Gorgeous Grunge on my page. I know I will be using this set a lot especially for scrapbook pages.
Hi! We have had lots of celebrations already this month!
I made this card for the president of the company I work for, her birthday was on the 7th so we had a "surprise" luncheon for her last week. She always appreciates the handmade cards I've given her. I used the stamp set Label Love and the coordinating bunch.
Hi! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Our family welcomed a new addition this weekend, I have a new niece - Jilian Mae. She is such a cutie, can't wait to meet her! After four boys, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law finally have a little girl!
I love all the sunburst cards I have been seeing and finally gave it a try last week. What a great way to display your favorite designer series paper all on one card!
I found some awesome pictures that we took in 2010 that I had not yet scrapbooked! This was the year I first met my step son Mikey. This is one of our favorite places to visit and camp - Audra State Park. Looking back at the pictures I can't believe how much he has changed in just three years. He is growing up so fast!
I used the set French Foliage for my background. This is still one of my favorite sets! All my products are Stampin Up except the leaves, I won those in a contest a couple years ago.
Well I promised myself that I would not forget about Grandparent's Day this year. Guess what, I forgot about it until Sunday. So I quickly made some cards, of course they didn't get mailed out until today but better late than never. Right?!
I used Mosaic Madness stamp set and the new in colors to make four cards. I really only needed three cards but I loved all these colors and didn't want to leave one out so I have an extra one to keep!
blurry it was until now and I've already mailed the card.
The cupcake stamp is the Patterned Occasions set from Saleabration earlier this year. I love this set and won't be giving it up very soon. My patterned paper is Quarterfancy Specialty from the current catalog.
Well today my Mom celebrates her birthday! Earlier this month we had a "surprise" party for her and her sister, since both of their birthdays are in August. I say surprise because my cousins told my aunt before the party because she knew something was up. So my mom found out too, but she was still surprised and they both had a good time.
I made them matching cards for the party with Moasic Madnesss and some of the new "In Colors" I really love these colors!
Lots of birthday cards this week! I am actually a little late getting them mailed out. During the week of July 22 and July 27 I had 5 birthday cards to mail out. Lucky for me three of them were for girls so I got to use some pink!
The pink is used is Strawberry Slush, one of the beautiful new In-Colors from Stampin Up! I used the stamp set Label Love and Oh, Whale for my girl cards. I just love the whale stamp, I am going to be hanging onto it for awhile. I will save the boy's cards for my next post.
Wow I can't believe it has been over a month since I have blogged! We have had a busy summer so far, lots of family gatherings and visits! Yesterday I had a great time at my sister in law's baby shower. This is their fifth baby. After four boys they are finally getting a little girl!! We don't have many girls on either side of the family. We will double blessed this year with two girls, one from each side of the family!
Me, my Mother in law Margaret & Sister in law Jennifer at the baby shower
I made this mini album for the new baby, finally getting to use some pink paper!! It folds up into the tin.
