En Francais

It's a little late to be posting these Mother's Day cards but the greeting could be changed to anything.  I  loved this color combo - Real Red & Coastal Cabana.

I used En Francis as the background stamp and an embossing folder. The Mother's Day stamp came in April's Paper Pumpkin kit.

Quilt Card

I love how this card turned out!
And will definitely be making more of these.

Paper Pumpkin

Well, I am really far behind in my posts!
I don't know where the time has went!

April's Paper Pumpkin has been my absolute favorite so far.  This was such a cute gift to give for Mothers Day, and even came with adorable packaging.  I added the "Live the Life You've Imagined" stamp.  This is one of my favorite stamps and was appropriate for the Mommy I was giving the gift to.

Pop Up Box Cards

It's Friday!! Hope everyone has fun plans for the weekend.
I am going to visit family and celebrate my
 "grand" niece turning 2!!

I had two special little ones to make cards for this month.  My "adopted" grandson turned 1 on May 9th and my "grand" niece turned 2 today! Both of these cute little ones feel like my own grandchildren, so I wanted to make them a special card.  So I made the Pop Up Box Cards.  I just love these cards!

Here is sweet Korbin, I just have to kiss his checks every
time I see him.  Too cute!

And Amya, she is such a little beauty!

Good-bye Papaya Collage

Hi! Hope everyone had a beautiful, relaxing weekend!
Temperature was a little cool, but beautiful sunshine here.

These are 3x3 cards I made using the Papaya Collage stamp set that will be retiring at the end of the month.  This set has such great stamps in it.  I've  used the colors from the  2014-2015 In-color ink and card stock.  The envelopes were made using the Envelope punch board.

These boxes were made with the Envelope board punch also, the cards fit inside the one with the butterflies.

Check out the retiring stamp list here
 and the retiring accessories here.

New catalog will be coming in June!!
You will LOVE the new products!!

Make a Wish

We had such beautiful weather this weekend! Sunny and perfect temperature Saturday and Sunday.  I didn't get very much accomplished, I sat on my porch enjoying the weather and read a book. Then Sunday my son and his fiancĂ© surprised us with a visit!

It is that time of year again for Stampin Up's retired list.  We hate to see the products go, but it makes room for lots of new and fun products!  You can check out the retired list here.

The fun designer paper I used on this card is one of the items retiring, it is called Birthday Basics.  The stamp set is Perfect Pennants and the Banner framelits are available in the Occasions catalog.

Wallet Mini Album

Happy Wednesday! Hope everyone is having a great week.  My new job is going great! I really love it there. Such a nice change from the last one.  I am excited for tomorrow evening, I will be attending a "Girls Night Out" at a local library.  I am excited to see what all they have to offer and find some ladies interested in Stampin Up!

This is a wallet mini album I made recently.  I didn't take a picture of it closed, but it closes up to about the size of a women's wallet.

Lots of pockets and tags inside to put your favorite photos!
I used Soho Subway designer series paper.

Love it!

I altered this 8 x 10 canvas in February for Valentine's Day and never got around to sharing it. They make great gifts for grandparents, or just about anybody. Just add a cute photo and they will love it!

The background paper is a retired piece from last year's Valentine's Day collection.  I used the Banner Blast stamp set and punch that was available in the Sale-a-Bration catalog. I also used Hearts a Flutter stamp set and matching framelits.

Easter Baskets

Happy Hump Day! So far this week the temperature has been feeling more like Spring!! The daffodils are blooming all over the hillside. I love to look out the windows in my craft room at all of the beautiful blooms!

I found instructions to these cute little baskets on someone's blog, sorry I can't remember where it was.  They were so easy to make I made several of them to give with Easter treats.

I loved the color combos on these two.  Rich Razzleberry is still one of my favorite colors.  And I love the Retro Fresh designer paper available in the Occasions catalog.

Gorgeous Grunge Scrapbook Page

Happy Friday!! Hope everyone had a great week.  I am excited for the weekend, I will be traveling a couple hours to visit family and get some stamping time with friends at my upline's house.  Can't wait to see the great projects she has in store for us! Plus I haven't seen some of my family since Christmas.  This winter was not very good for traveling.

This is one of my favorite pictures from my wedding.  One of my ring bearers (my great nephew - Landon) got a little bored during the ceremony and decided to crawl thru the best man's legs and about knocked him over.

I used lots of Stampin Up supplies for this page.  Colors: Tempting Turquoise.  Stamp Set: Gorgeous Grunge.

Pop Up Box Card

Hi! I love all the Pop Up Box Cards I have been seeing on blogs!  So I finally gave it a try, it was a lot easier than I imagined it to be.  But I realized in this picture you can't really see my back layers very well.  Might have to add some more flowers to it.

Stamp Sets: Missed Bunch (coordinates with the Blossom punch) and Label Love (coordinates with the Label punch)

"Live" Mini Album

Hi! Last week was a busy week for me.  I went back to work full time after a 2 month "vacation".  Clothes and dishes are piled up.  I need to get back into a routine again.  It was nice being able to do those chores any time I wanted, but it was back to reality making a steady income. So far I think I am really going to like this job!!

Here is a mini album I made on one of my "vacation" days.  I made two similar ones that I am going to give as gifts.  I love the stamp "Live the Life you've Imagined" from the  Really Good Greetings stamp set.  The papers are from a retired Simply Scrappin" set.

The pages are Stampin Up envelopes that I cut open so I could insert a piece of card stock for more photos.

Have a great Monday ~ Shelley

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! We had gorgeous weather, with the threat of snow on the way.  I am hoping that snow stays far away from us!

Here is a wreath I made for our door for St. Patrick's Day.  I love the green, it makes me think of the start of Spring! Flowers will be blooming soon.  Lots of daffodils are starting to sprout up all for our hills. :)

I made the rosettes from retired designer paper.  I wrapped the wooden wreath with burlap ribbon. The shamrocks are made from the heart punch, with little buttons in the center.
