It's Friday!!!

I am so excited for the weekend! We are having a family Christmas party on Sunday.  It is so hard to get our entire family together, as we keep growing larger and larger.  So we thought we would have a get together before Christmas. I am excited to see everyone.

I am a little late posting this card.  I used the sketch from last weeks Mojo Monday.  They always have great sketches. And I have to say that this stamp is my favorite this year.  It is from the Pines and Poinsettias set and I have used it many times this season.  Even better that I got it free from Stampin Up when my sister joined as a demonstrator!!

I used the faux porcelain technique from Split Coast Stampers on my Christmas stamp.

11 days til Christmas!!

Well, I hope you all have most of your shopping done.  I actually have more done now than I usually do.  I only have two more gifts to buy!! And I know what I am getting them! Yippee!

I took some time this weekend to make a few Christmas cards to give to my fiancĂ©'s Mom.

I cased this card from someone else's blog, sorry I can't find the link now. I really like how it turned out. And I love that I used French Foliage to make a Christmas card.

Have a great day ~ Shelley

December already??

I just don't know where November went. It still amazes me how fast time flies. There never seems to be enough hours in the day. But I did get a few things accomplished last night. That pesky day job seems to get in the way, especially this time of year. My future sister-in-law's baby shower is this weekend and she asked me to make a couple sets of Christmas cards to giveaway as prizes. I am more than happy to oblige. I finished them up last night.

Here is one of them. I used Rich Razzleberry and embossed the Delightful Decorations with pewter embossing powder.
I'm excited for tomorrow evening to get here, I think I will get a few more projects crossed off my list!

Have a great day, Shelley

More Christmas Decorations

I have another Christmas decoration to share with you today.

I used a Jingle all the Way Decor Element on a glass block I bought at Lowes.  Inside is some miniature blue bulbs and a couple strings of beads.  I decorated with some ribbon & a bow I bought on sale after Christmas last year. I would still like to buy a small set of lights to put inside too.

Freshly Made

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. It goes by so fast! I thought I would work on some Christmas cards today. I talked to my cousin the other night and he has already started getting his ready!  I know this month will be gone before I know it, so I really need to get some more done before the rush of the season begins.

I used the sketch at Freshly Made  to make this card. I have been wanting to make some Christmas cards using non traditional colors, especially my favorite color Razzleberry!

Stampin Up supplies
Razzleberry cardstock & ink, Melon Mambo cardstock & ink, Whisper White cardstock, Versamark, Pewter embossing powder, Snow Swirled stamp set

Christmas Stocking

Hi all!! We had a great time with my Mom yesterday. Took her to the mall and a little site seeing around the area. I really think she is enjoying her "vacation". Today I think we will make a few Christmas cards!

I used the stocking die to make this card.

I see more of these in my future. I've seen such great treat holders with these stockings! With my LARGE family I will be making a lot of them.

Have a great day! Shelley

Christmas is in the air!!

Happy Wednesday!! I have been in the Christmas spirit lately. I love CHRISTMAS!! I want to get a jump start on some decorations for our new house. The sad thing is I always buy things then never get around to use them. I bought two foam trees last year and was determined to create something with them this week.  My friend Kim says there is only 68 days to go!! Can you believe it!!

Well I did get one tree created...

These are using the lollies, except I didn't create the lolly with them. I used scored my paper ever 1/4" with the Simply Scored tool. Then just pinned them into the foam. I used the Cherry Cobble Quilted Satin ribbon for tinsel. The ornaments are from the stocking accents die for the Big Shot and 1/2" circle punch.

I stamped some of the ornaments with the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set.
It is such a pretty set!

Have a great day! Shelley

Christmas Box

I can't believe the change in the weather! The weekend was so hot & humid, with this rain it feels so cold. My feet were freezing all day long. Didn't want to drag out the "real" shoes yet so I still wore my sandals. If it is raining tomorrow I think I better though.

I love this free gift I received from Stampin Up for signing a new recruit! We received the box, all the supplies including this awesome Christmas stamp set Pines and Poinsettias.

Have a great day ~ Shelley

Snow in the Forecast

Hi! With the miserable heat wave happening here on the East Coast of the USA, I thought I would share some Christmas cards.
I love this new Snow Much Fun set from Stampin Up! Can't get enough of these cute little snowmen!

These look much better in person, the stamped image didn't come out very clear, especially on the Certainly Celery card stock.
I stamped the different images and used the ornament punch, then embossed them on the Big Shot.

Digi Stamps 4 Joy - Christmas
Paper Pretties - Embossed

Hope you stay cool today  ~ Shelley
