Scrap it with a Song - Unwritten

Hi! Hope every is having a great week! Today starts the new challenge at Scrap it with a Song. This is we are using a song of my choice. I just love the song Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. 

I decided to do a page in my "Love" scrapbook I have been creating for a few years now. I wish I could find another one of these, mine is almost full now.

Productive Week

I have finally gotten all of our wedding invitations in the mail! You don't know how happy that makes me. Plus I have most of the wedding favors completed. Yay Me! I still feel like I have a lot of decorations to make but every thing seems to be coming together nicely!

And I had time to finish a project I have been working on. 

I painted this rum bottle and I had been waiting for me to decorate it. I found this beautiful octopus pendant at Michael's. I am afraid to spend too much time in the beads and jewelry because I know I could spend a lot of money there. Jewelry making looks like so much fun. I will have to wait until after the wedding to begin that adventure. I don't need any more distractions or a reason to spend money! I have had the stickers for some time. Still not sure if I want to add anything else to it, but I like it the way it is.

ROAR!!!

Hope everyone's week has been good so far! Work has been so very busy I haven't been able to accomplish much when I get home in the evening. So I am hoping to get  A LOT done this Saturday and Sunday. The wedding will be here before I know it...I can't believe June is almost gone. 

But I am not panicking yet. Ok, maybe a little bit lol

One of our nephew's had a birthday last week. With so many nieces and nephews there aren't many weeks that go by that it is not someone's birthday. We have 3 this month!

I just love these dinosaur stamps. My goal is to one day use them for a mini scrapbook of my nephews.

Father's Day and a Birthday

Hi! Hope you all had a great Father's Day weekend. Ours was great. My little niece turned 4 years old yesterday so we went to her house for a birthday party. 

This is Madison with her Hello Kitty birthday cake.

I finally made some Father's Day cards on Saturday. Nothing like waiting until the last minute right. And the one I had to mail is late! And it is for my nephew's 1st Father's Day. His baby girl was a month old on Saturday.

Scrap it with a Song & a DT Call

Where did the past two weeks go!! I can't believe it is the middle of the month already. I completely forgot to do my page for Scrap it with a Song! We have another great song for you - Drive by Incubus. 

I created my page in My Digital Studio and used the sketch at Sketches in Thyme. This is my son and nephew and there good friends, well more like family especially since my nephew Tyler married into Alex & Aaron family. I am so thankful they have such great friends, they all are really great kids. Ok, I guess they are all adults now, but it doesn't seem like they should be!

My Love

I have been playing with this cool Instagram app on my phone.

 I love how it makes the photos look so old & cool! I already have way more pictures than I could ever scrap now I will have even more. It kind of stresses me out! lol

Papaya Collage

I finally got to order some new Stampin Up!  I was so excited when it was delivered but I haven't had much time to play with it, since I have been finishing up my wedding invitations. Finally today I got to make a card!

I just love this new stamp set, Papaya Collage!

Smash Book

Hi! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Mine has been a bit stressful but nothing I can't handle, right! I wanted to share a couple pages out of my "smash" book. Love that they have a cool name for these scrapbooks we all use to make when we were young! It is so much fun to do.

On Mother's Day, my son, Larz, told me Rosie the Riveter reminded him of me as we passed a card that had her on it. I just thought that was the sweetest compliment ever!

Sunday, me & Mike had a great time taking a walk downtown and visiting the Civi Center.  It was such a gorgeous day!

What a beautiful weekend

Hi! Hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was great. We had such beautiful weather and enjoyed a nice walk around downtown. I hated to see it come to an end.


I did get a few things completed this weekend. I have already used this picture for a digital scrapbook page, but I had a copy printed out and had this canvas I had been meaning to use and thought this was the perfect picture for it.

And I finally got some coasters done for my son's friend, Alex.  These were suppose to be made a long time ago. Now he won't even believe they are finally complete.  So I made him an extra large one to make up for it.
